Questions

Do my files get uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and the images are pulled out inside your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How is this different from PDF to image?
PDF to image makes a picture of each whole page. This pulls out the images the PDF already stores inside it, at their own size.
What format do I get?
Each image is saved as a PNG. With more than one, you can download them all as a ZIP.
Why did it find fewer images than I expected?
The same picture used on many pages is saved once, and tiny decorative slivers are skipped. Text and vector drawings aren't images, so they aren't extracted.
